Closure for Public Holidays & Staff Training

Please note that the  Practice will be closed on the following public holidays: Wednesday 25th & Thursday 26th December 2019.

The Practice will also be closed for staff training from 1.00pm on the following Wednesdays: 9 October and 13 November 2019

In case of emergency, please telephone 999. 

In case of anything urgent, which cannot wait until the surgery reopens, please call 111.

Chronic Disease Clinics

At these clinics the Nurses give advice on the management of asthma, COPD, diabetes, ischaemic heart disease and high blood pressure. They monitor all these conditions as well as checks specific to the condition such as peak flow reading or blood tests.

Community Mental Health Nurse

There is a Community Mental Health Nurse, employed by the Primary Care Organisation, who is available to provide psychological therapy on referral from the doctor.

Family Planning

The Doctors give advice during normal surgery times on all forms of family planning.

Influenza Immunisations

Patients over 65 years and those identified in high risk groups are offered immunisation against influenza. Vaccines are normally available from the end of September.Please contact reception.

Maternity Services

Antenatal and postnatal care is undertaken by all the Doctors and our team of Community Midwives during regular surgeries or Practice antenatal clinic. In addition, there are parentcraft classes held throughout the year. Please ask the Midwife for more details.

Minor Surgery

Minor surgical procedures are carried out by the doctors at arranged times.
